Donations Support Our Efforts
We do not charge for our services. We have been able to support a very lean operating budget just with member dues. During our first few years of operation this was difficult but acceptable. Our organization is now of substantial size. Our training program has allowed us to achieve a high level of competency in most aspects of search and rescue. We are becoming recognized professionally and are being called upon more and more to help with lost person incidents. However, careful planning, dedication and hard work can only take us so far. The day is coming that we will find a subject who has suffered severe trauma and we won t be able to render adequate care because of a lack of medical equipment. The day is coming that a searcher is severely injured attempting to access a subject without adequate equipment to ensure his safety. The day is coming when a subject needlessly dies because a lack of communications equipment delays information that would have allowed the search manager to direct resources appropriately. Our best efforts will be thwarted by a lack of funds. To avoid this, we are asking for a grant or donation of equipment or monetary value in order to purchase emergency medical equipment, training aids, communication and safety equipment.
We are always looking at ways to improve our performance. To continue our service to the community we must rely solely on contributions from the generosity of others. Any contribution from yourself, your family or your employer helps the team obtain additional equipment would be greatly appreciated.
Please feel free to contact Mark Supernor, Team President, should you have any questions about the team.
Thank you very much for your interest. Your support will allow us to provide the highest level of care to the people and agencies we serve.
