CMSART January 2010 Team Training & Annual Team Meeting
Event Details
The training will consist of reviewing some of the Team Equipment. We will be going over some the Team s communication equipment, training equipment and HOPEFULLY some of the members own gear, in regards to what we carry, why and what works best for us. This will be a gear driven exercise so new members gather some info on what to buy themselves, what veteran members can maybe do without and what the Team has. We will also be doing some stokes basket packaging & hypo wraps. We will also be discussing cold weather injuries. We essentially want to make the February Winter Drill an all hands-on drill, using the January drill to cover the portions we normally lecture about prior the field exercises at the winter drill.
In addition, during the equipment review portion of the day, Board Members will complete the individual reviews with the membership, that those not done last year. This will allow us to speak with each of you to find out how you think the year went as an individual, what you think you may need to work on, what CMSART should consider working on, what went right, what went wrong and so forth. These reviews won t be long in duration, but we believe they will very helpful. Finally, we will conduct the Annual Team Meeting; which includes the year in review and Board of Directors and Advisor elections.
In accordance with the CMSART By-Laws, the elections will be by paper ballot and the job descriptions for such positions are included at the end of this message to the team.
